In this Program, the students in a Community Service class will receive $1,000 from the Cindy Hnatyshyn Foundation to donate on the Foundation's behalf. They are to donate the money to patients at their local Children's Hospital and the funds may be divided up however they wish. Before this happens the children are required to volunteer a certain amount of their time at the location, observing the various families and situations, then write a report that rationalizes how they came to their decision of how the money will be donated. By mid-October the classroom as a whole may decide to upgrade to the Inspire LEADERSHIP Program or not. Both programs run for the duration of 1 school year, with a formal presentation of the donation in June.
