The Inspire LEADERSHIP Program
If a classroom chooses to upgrade to the Inspire Leadership Program, they agree to fundraise $1,000 on their own, which will also be donated to patients at their local Children's Hospital. If they reach this goal, The Cindy Hnatyshyn Foundation will donate a gift of $1,000 to their school gym for sports equipment. Therefore, a cycle is promoted in which participants are initiating helping others and themselves. It is believed that some classrooms will choose this program after seeing the high demand and costs associated with specialized treatments in healthcare. In being exposed to the realities of our healthcare system, the students will be experiencing first-hand the importance of preventative measures such as maintaining their own physical fitness.
The purpose of this Program is to inspire students to go a step further than a regular volunteer program and to challenge their level of compassion. They will develop a stronger sense of confidence by working towards a cause that they believe in. The Program also places value on the sports equipment they would earn. Those students would be leaving a legacy for other grades to follow, who will also be able to enjoy the gym equipment. This sets a good example for younger grades to follow in their footsteps. Leading by example!
